So it has been over a year since I updated this blog. We no longer have Steppy, she went back to her original home and I was able to get my horse Brio back. As I took off a year from competing, Madeline had a great year of showing with her horse Carson. At the end of the year, she qualified herself for the Area II championships to be held in Virginia. So with a new trainer on board, Madeline is sure to have a winning, successful year. Right now she had a great opportunity to be down in Aiken for 8 weeks with her trainer and she is being homeschooled. Her horse is still up here in snowy Maryland but we are leaving to go down to be with Madeline in 3 weeks. So it is my job to get him fit. Unfortunately the weather has not been cooperating for me to get him out to be ridden. Hopefully this week the weather will cooperate for me to get him over to the indoor to do some riding.
